The trailer of actor Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming film ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’ has been released. The film being released on OTT is said to be an original film inspired by true events. This court room drama film directed by Apoorva Singh Karki is now caught in a legal dispute. Asaram Bapu Trust has issued a notice to the makers of the film. He has told the story of the film as the story of Bapu. The film features a High Court lawyer, who fought an extraordinary case of rape of a minor under the POCSO Act. Manoj Vajpayee is playing the lead role of a lawyer in the film.
The film’s trailer has revealed that it is inspired by real-life events. The trailer received a good response from the audience, who after watching the trailer guessed that the Godman in the film is none other than Asaram, as Manoj’s character in the film is named PC Solanki and the lawyer by this name fought the case against Asaram.
The devotees of Asaram felt sorrow
Now Asaram’s Dharmarth Trust has sent a legal notice to the makers of the film on Tuesday. It has demanded the court to ban the promotion and release of the film. The lawyer issuing the notice says the film is disastrous and defamatory to his client and may damage his reputation. This can hurt the sentiments of his devotees and followers.

‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’ has been titled under the banner of Practical Production. Filmmaker Asif Shaikh has confirmed receiving the notice. He said, yes we have received the notice and our lawyer will decide the next course of action. We have made a biopic on PC Solanki and I have bought rides from him to make this film. Now someone is saying that the film is made on him, so he can think, but it cannot be stopped.
