‘Jadu’ is coming back to the screens, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ will be re-released after 20 years
Koi Mil Gaya : Rakesh Roshan recently spoke about the film which has completed an amazing journey of two decades. During a media interview, Rakesh Roshan revealed that he made the film with the aim of exposing his son Hrithik’s acting skills.
Remember Hrithik Roshan’s movie ‘Koi Mil Gaya’? This film which came out in the year 2003 cast a lot of magic on the audience. Everyone from children to elders flocked to cinemas to watch this film. On the other hand, the film proved to be a lifesaver for Hrithik Roshan’s derailed career. This month Koi Mill Gaya completes 20 years since its release. The makers are preparing to re-release it on this occasion.
Rekha’s role was important
The film will be re-released in 30 cities on the occasion of the completion of 20 years of the film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. The film will release in 30 cities on August 4 on PVR and INOX. Let us tell you that this film was directed by Hrithik Roshan’s father and director Rakesh Roshan. Preity Zinta was seen opposite Hrithik in this film. Apart from this, Rekha played the role of Hrithik’s mother.

Hrithik’s eight films in a row flopped

Rakesh Roshan further said, ‘Hrithik proved himself with ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. He got completely into character’. Let it be known that Hrithik was seen in the role of a mentally weak boy in this film. He made special preparations to play this role. Rakesh Roshan revealed that, ‘A week before the shoot, Hrithik locked himself in a room. After this he went straight to the shoot. It was only when the first shot was given that I realized that he understood his character perfectly.
Krrish 4 movie may come soon
‘Koi Mil Gaya’ was a huge hit. However, even after this, Rakesh Roshan had no plans for his franchise. According to the director, the idea of a franchise came to his mind while watching ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and thus Krrish was created. After this came ‘Krrish 3’. The director says that now he is preparing to bring ‘Krrish 4’ and the work on this film will start in 2024.
