Adipurush Nepal Controversy: There is a buzz going on everywhere about the movie Adipurush starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. There was a lot of uproar in India over this film and the makers had to change its dialogues. At the same time, there has been an uproar in Nepal over the movie Adipurush.
A request was made to remove the dialog
Objecting to the dialogue calling Sita the daughter of India, Balendra Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu, banned the release of all Hindi films, including Adipurush. The mayor demanded that this dialogue be removed. Later, the makers also disclosed the matter.
Meanwhile, a court in Nepal has banned the ban imposed on all Hindi films including Adipurush. The court asked the authorities not to ban the release of films that pass the censor board in the country. Patan High Court Single Bench Judge Dhir Bahadur Chand, in his short-term order, said that those who were cleared for release, should not stop the release of the film.

‘Ready for any punishment’
Mayor Balendra Shah has opposed this decision of the court. He has said that he is ready for any punishment but will not allow the screening of the film, as the matter is related to the sovereignty and independence of Nepal.
Bhaskar Dhungana, president of Nepal Motion Picture Association, said that the petitioners are currently waiting for the court’s written order. He said, now we will show all the films that have passed the censor board.
Adipurush was beaten at the box office
The Om Raut-directed Adipurush, which made 340 crores in the first three days, was a breather in its first week. The film has earned around 410 crores worldwide in one week. The impact of the controversy was evident on the film and the film’s earnings continued to decline from the third day onwards.
