Actress Tanushree Dutta made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne. But, she has not been seen acting in any film for the past 12 years. Recently in an interview, Tanushree Dutta said that some gangs are working in Bollywood and they are targeting people. Especially those who are outsiders.
My entry into Bollywood was only due to winning the Miss India pageant. The most important thing in Bollywood than talent and beauty is which gang you belong to. Now Bollywood has become Afghanistan. Here some target certain groups of people. The entire focus of the person being targeted is on how to survive the group, how to carry on the work.
Here in Bollywood, Lanka rules. I pray everyday that someone will come and set us free from here. We have spent our whole life here, worked in this Bollywood for 20 years. If we had known in advance that all this was going on here, we would not have come here at all. It seems that you come only if your contact is with politics and gangster type people. If you are honest, don’t want to wrongly admire someone, don’t want to be someone’s item or girlfriend, then it’s hard to survive here in Bollywood.
A press conference was organized against me during #MeToo. Oftentimes this mob will pit the very worst against you. Who will spread false things about you. Can’t even complain because nothing can be done by law and order. By complaining to the police you will only prove yourself insane. So actors, directors, singers all come to media and express their pain. Now I am connected with the spirit, there I find peace. Even though I am in Bollywood, I feel at peace with my mind. If I had been disturbed, I would have been like Sushant Singh Rajput. I want to say keep calm in this war, this Ravana’s Lanka will surely burn, only Hanuman ji’s tail is needed.
