During an interview, Vivek Agnihotri recalled a time when he was fed up with the ‘cliché’ films of Bollywood. The filmmaker said that this journey started long ago when I made Buddha in a traffic jam.
There was a time when I was fed up with the way Bollywood worked. Because everything was so star driven that no one cared about the stories. Continuing his point, the director said, then there came a time when films became only entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.
According to the filmmaker, if films were only entertainment, there would be no difference between films and circuses. Vivek Agnihotri further said that, he never talks about topics that he does not understand. He does Bollywood because the class understands it. He has no complaints but talks about Bollywood so that he can change.

The new movie The Vaccine War is coming
After creating a stir among the audience with his film The Kashmir Files, now Vivek Agnihotri is coming up with his next directorial film The Vaccine War. Big stars like Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and Raima Sen will be seen in this film. The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 15. Now the makers have postponed the release of the film till October 24.
